First off, I would like to thank Hydrapak for sponsoring the Great 2010 Data Drive!  Of all the ways they could have promoted their products, they decided to help out this little community driven grassroots web site, and for that, I can not thank them enough!  I can only hope you keep this in mind next time you are in the market for a new hydration pack!

And the Winner is!

You could of probably guessed it, G-Remf/Gremf/Green Giant/President of Connecticut NEMBA won the grand prize by a long shot!  Nearly doubling the effort of the next closest user!  What did he win?  A Lowrance Endura Sierra GPS, a Hydrapak Big Sur Pack (or 2011 Comparable Pack), an extra 100 Reversible Reservoir, 2 Gel-Bots - 24 & 20 oz. and 2 Soft Flasks - 8 and 5 oz..

The Scoring Breakdown

G-Remf:    66060
davidleerothspants:    36025
m1neral:    29380
Woodcore:    26030
THOMLLAMA:    22820
bikerag:    20835
ride365:    19065
kill your ATV:    16565
Grego:    12795

In Conclusion

I think this contest was a great success!  My goal was to try to ehance and fill in our data here - and just by looking at the map, we did just that!  We have lots of new trails in the system, tons of new GPS data, many trails are well "marked up" now highlighting terrain, trail names and trail blazes.  All of this information is invaluable!

What Can I learn from YOU?

I really tried to make this site as "usable" as possible - or in other words, "easy and inviting to use".   Usability in web interfaces is an art form, one that I try to be a constant student of, and certainly one that am still trying to sort out!   If there is anything you found confusing, clunky, or just hard to do in regards to contributing to this site, I would love to know about it!

Lastly...

Thank you all for contributing!  This site is here to build community and spread some love - basically this site is what you make it!

Of course, another big thank you goes out to Hydrapak!
