Getting a Jump on Halloween

There are others things I should have done...

...but with Halloween (kind of) right around the corner, I could not resist. I just thought it would be fun to gather up as many myths, legeneds and ghost stories I could find that have something to do with (or are near) the places we bike.

Turns out there is a bunch going on out there! Admittably, some of the stories are pretty vague, but a few of them have been researched pretty well, and are kind of creepy, not to mention educational. It might even be worth it to check out some of the provided links.

View the map in full scream!

Just scroll around and click on each little ghost above to see whats happening there, and be sure to enjoy this pages spooky soundtrack (you can turn it off at the bottom of this article)?

Maybe this can be a little more interesting?

Perhaps YOU have stories of spooky and/or supernatural stuff that happened on a ride? If you do, please drop me an email and I will add it to the map. You might notice a couple little ghosts up there with a little person icon on the bottom right - those are meant to be "user stories". Like my creepy Ninham 'face in the trees' picture'.

And be sure to let me know who you are (Crankfire user name) and where it happened.

That is all

Happy (early) Halloween.
