Nathan Clouds Review
Personally, this is my favorite place to ride. Middlesex is part of Cockaponset State Forest and is certainly not a place for beginner/recreational riders.
It consists of a healthy mix of fireroads, powerline trails, rock outcrops and twisty rocky evil rooty singletracks full of Laurel trees that constantly try to rip you off your bike. And as great as this all sounds, almost every bit of trail cut here is rideable, often challenging, but still rideable.
There are also not many BIG climbs here, it is mostly quick ups and downs - but still, Middlesex certainly will give you a workout, it never allows you get a good rhythm going.
There are also A LOT of trails here. I have been riding here for many years and i still get lost.
I love this place.

Middlesex
Rip it up!. Twisty and turny and body bending! love it!
The best/worst part of that ride... it mapped out to be a little under 7 miles. Felt more like 20 miles - especially waking up this morning.
new stuff. rode some great new trails yesterday with nathan and buck-nasty. I have been going to middlesex for years and was getting bored with same ol stuff. We did some blue trail off of the fire road, great view but too much hiking.Nate showed us awesome fast tight trails in the mt.laurel that were killer. It was one of the best rides ive done in a long time. We had to ride alittle fire road to link up some of the good stuff but it was well worth it. About 20 feet from the car at the end of the ride(or so I thought) we found a new trail that eliminates some fire road and power lines. One day of exploring opened up some great rides for me. thanks Nate
yeah i hear theres some trails out there.
Middlesex rips!! As if some of the trails aren't windy and difficult enough, just add some mountain laurel that makes ya squirm more and I'm happy! Enough trail here to do a 4 hour ride without touching much of the same sections already completed. Awesome!!!
I do really love this place. It made me a better rider by kicking my ass.
