What a great place to ride! Very challenging and is always testing your abilities. Great rocky sections to navigate through and tons of rock rollers everywhere to play. Uphills will give you a great workout and push your skills. This is a must place to ride.

Case Mountain
Rode Case this weekend. Hadn't been there for at least 10 years. It is an awesome place to ride. It has everything! Any style of riding can be found here.
Tuesday Oct 10th. A friend and I went out to this area on tuesday. We've been frequenting the powerlines that run from birch mountain road down to the resivior. I have yet to bring a gps down there to map it. it's a great set of trails.
We started out on old Hebron Road, took a right at the clearing near the resivoir and crossed over the damn. From there we proceded to climb untill we reached the service road. Once we hit the powerlines it was a grueling climb towards the heavens. We reached the crazy technical rocky section appropriately named the "Aggro Crag!" we didn't do it. But we did turn around and bomb down the power lines. It's so awesome. very fun. we did it in an hour 20 minutes.
Thursday September 29th. A few of us tried out the trails in the torrential rains, thanks to remnants of hurricane rita. We got in from Old Hebron Ave, and went right up the resivoir, then went around it. we may have touched upon the trails on the GPS located on this site, but mostly new ground, lots of climbs. It wasn't too difficult or technical.
Best Trail Period!!!. Case is the best place to ride in CT. Well, maybe the fact that I live five miles away has something to do with the way I feel. Still, Case is my primary riding grounds. You would think I would get tired of it, but every time I go out I find more trails, more variations, little loops I hadn't noticed before, new stunts that look impressive (but I won't try). I have to say that the Line St. parking is best, since you can ride out to Case proper or immediately head off on the southern trails (haven't made it into Meshomasic this way yet, but I want to try this spring).
