Gregos Review
If you like Climbing, and I mean CLIMBING,and then bombing down fire roads, go in on the river side. Mostly Double track loose trails here. Pretty much no trail is blazed.
If you like easier climbs and technical single track, then park on the Oxford side and loop the reservoirs.
I used to ride here a lot in the days before the internet. Back when the reservoirs were owned by the water company. They were acquired by the state and now you can ride without racing the rangers. There is a lot of potential to be a really good spot with a little work.
Most of the trails are pretty rouge and not maintained at all. Some parts make you feel like no one has been there in years until you see the occasional horse hoof print. We've been moving stuff out of the way here and there.
There are several places to park here. If you park in Beacon falls, you have to ascend right away for a about two miles to get to the very top.
For easier riding, you can park in oxford near the reservoir. There is a decent map (link Below). Stay off the border trail that goes away from the third rez as you have to walk the bike up steep sections to be rewarded with fire roads down.
The singletrack trails around the reservoirs are best. The pine needle technical fun type.
