Not very long, but the single track here is excellent. Steep, challenging uphill followed by a roller-coaster downhill will have you looping again and again.

Harwinton Recreation Center
Last year I decided to check it out as its not far from where I live so it'd be perfect for a nice fast ride. As I was just getting ready to hop on the bike their local trooper comes in and drives over to me and sternly reminds me of the "rules" there which dont allow bikes on that trail. I explained I didnt know there were rules...ect. He reads them off to me which included NO PROFANITY...LOL!! So I had to load the bike back up(without yelling F ME...LOL) and head for a place down the road. I was told this year they put signs up on the trail entrance...let me know if those are gone as wouldnt mind riding there...wait...never mind...if that trooper see's me again and finds out where I live I'll be locked up for years...<Wink>))
I'll check out the signs next time I'm there. I've been going here for years, never had any problems..
that'd be great but no one is supposed to be biking on whats in there now.(the signs are gone?) Thats the local trooper's hang out so he keeps an eye on it.
Any possibility of it's being expanded?
