Benefit Event for Tara Llanes
Figured I would try to pimp an excellent cause best I can.
As most of you are aware, pro racer Tara Llanes was paralyzed racing last year.
Furthermore, many of you are also aware of how bad-ass she is - she is a class act competitor with a amazing smile that was always shining. She was even good enough to pop a link to Crankfire on her site after a stalkeriffic series of emails from me :)
Since her accident, she has been hellbent on fixing herself and getting back on track - spending incredible amounts of time in physical therapy and fighting to get back on her feet (er.. bike).
What's Up?
Well, Kyle Ebbett and Rye Airfield are hosting a charity event for her on February 23rd.
So, if you can make it, do it. Otherwise, drop her a line, donate a few bucks, and be sure to pass this on!
