First Off
Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.
Fish don't fry in the kitchen;
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin'
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in the big leagues
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby
There ain't nothin wrong with that.
Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

Lee Marvin had nothing to do with the Jeffersons.
This is Lee Marvin with a sweet mustache.

Ok, so April was BIG Well, the 2006 biking season is off to a start. A good start. To be honest I was surprised how active ole Crankfire stayed during the winter. Then I was looking at the statistics for March and thought to myself "huh, things are getting a little busy, how nice". Then came April 4th. I took a look at my logs and noticed that in 4 days we burned through 7% of Aprils bandwidth. That leaves 26 more days in April - which, according to some advanced arithmetic I contracted out, things could get tight by months end. So I looked at when my years hosting was up. April 11th? Huh. Imagine that. Thought it was in June. Time for new hosting folks. What this means to you Hopefully nothing apart from a faster, bigger server with bandwidth to burn. |

However, the reality is that there could be a little downtime. It depends on how smoothly I can get this bastard running over yonder and how fast the internet can figure out what server to point Crankfire.com to. The latter being out of my hands, the prior... that's me, and well, we will see. So what I am trying to say is that is if this site disappears, or does not function entirely well for a day or so, please bear with me and be patient. You no panic.
I leave you with an old college buddy of mines radio sign off:
UPDATE Well, the move is done. It may take a little bit for the DNS servers to propagate across the web. If you are reading this, you are here. Surprisingly though, this whole process was rather painless. So far. |
